What dresses will Wedding Dress Secrets accept?

We offer a collection of beautiful dresses that any bride would be proud of. Quality and hygiene are very important to us when selecting stock and we will only accept dresses that are:

• under two years old (although we will occasionally accept an older style if hasn’t
  noticeably dated).
• in excellent condition
• with proof of dry cleaning if previously worn

How do I arrange to sell my dress?

Simply contact Wedding Dress Secrets by telephone or e-mail and advise us that you would like to sell your wedding dress. We will discuss with you the details of your dress and we will agree a resale price. This is usually around 50% of the original price you paid . We will then send you a Sellers Registration Form for you to complete. We will make the rest of the process as simple as possible.

Once we have received your dress, and we are confident that it is suitable for sale we will log all your details from your registration form and take photos of your dress. We will then advertise the sale of your dress.

What are the terms and conditions of the sale of my dress?

Upon agreement, Wedding Dress Secrets will market your dress both online and from our premises for initial contractual period of six months. During this time, if your dress is sold we will forward 65% of the selling price to you  and Wedding Dress Secrets will receive a commission of 35%. If, however, we are unable to find a buyer for your dress during the contractual period, we will either request a payment of 10% commission before returning your dress, or alternatively discuss extending the selling period where appropriate.*

We do understand that  you may change your mind about selling your dress and may wish to withdraw it from sale prior to the end of our contractual agreement. Upon notification of your decision, we will return your dress within 7 days, but will unfortunately need to request a payment of 10% of agreed selling price along with any return delivery costs incurred.

Please note that dresses that have not been claimed within 12 weeks of the end of the contractual selling period will become the property of Wedding Dress Secrets.
